We are a small local consultancy, based on the north coast of Cornwall, and we pride ourselves on providing a fast and cost-effective service to keep that property sale on track.
Tim is a highly experienced and qualified Chartered Engineering Geologist, he can assess ground conditions and the geotechnical stability of a site. We provide a risk assessment of a property or a development that is designed to provide the assurances required for property sales and conveyance, morgagability, home insurance or simply to provide peace of mind to homeowners.
We will provide a detailed and comprehensive report which will provide an assessment of risk as well as whatever assurances are appropriate, we will also provide advice and recommendations for cost-effective remediation works (if required).

Who might need a slope stability survey? Typically we work with people who are looking to buy or sell property in Cornwall and are concerned about landslides, landslips or rockfall. It may be a coastal property with sea cliffs, a former quarry or it may simply be a hillside or sloping site.

How long does the survey take? We aim to provide a full assessment and report within 5 to 7 working days, but we also understand the urgency of a conveyance process, and sometimes there is a requirement to provide a report or assurance as soon as possible to keep that purchase or sale on track!

What are your credentials? Tim has been working as an Engineering Geologist and specialising in Slope Stability Assessment for 20 years. Since 2015 he has been living and working exclusively in Cornwall. Will this report satisfy my mortgage lender? Our reports are comprehensive and are approved by mortgage lenders and building warranty and insurance providers across the southwest.
