Coastal Vulnerability Assessment - miles from the sea!

Tresillian River front - tidal mudlfats and reed beds

Slope Stability South West were out undertaking a Coastal Vulnerability Assessment at a point in the middle of Cornwall!

Tresillian is located east of Truro, approximately 5 miles from the sea at the nearest point. Nevertheless, it is a tidal river system, it is part of the Roseland Heritage Coast, and falls within the Shoreline Management Plan for Cornwall and The Isles of Scilly. The location is stunning, and a fantastic opportunity for @STEPHENS+STEPHENS to develop the site.

Shoreline management is of increasing importance, and ensuring proposed development is appropriate, well planned and of minimal impact to this vulnerable environment is a fundamental principal of the National Planning Policy Framework (2018) and local guidance.
